Posthumous Hall of Fame
At the September 14th, 1992 meeting of the North Star
League, the membership voted unanimously for the league to have its
own Hall of Fame. Six members were selected and awards were first presented
during the 1993 season.

Leo Dircks of Maple Lake
Leo served many hours working on the local ball field and
coaching youth baseball. Served three years as league president.
Perry Ditty of Delano
Involved in baseball in all aspects as player, coach, manager,
league, regional and state offices, as well as many hours of on the
field service.
Joe Harmala of Dassel-Cokato
Won over 100 games as a pitcher for the D-C Saints, managed
the Saints to seven State Tournaments in eight years of managing. Joe
has been Region 11 commissioner.
Arnold Klaers of Loretto
Involved in baseball in all aspects as player, manager and
team supporter as well as long time Vice-President of the league. Was
major influence in the start of baseball in Loretto.
Ron Meyers of Buffalo
Ron never played baseball in his life, but served faithfully
as league secretary for 19 years.
Don Timpe of Maple Plain
Involved in baseball as player, manager, league president
for 12 years and regional commissioner.

Al Dircks of Maple Lake
Served Maple Lake faithfully as grounds crew chief, and
number one supporter of Maple Lake baseball, spending many hours coaching
youth baseball.
Van Merriman of Delano
Van played baseball for 23 years, umpired baseball for 13
years. Van is an example of giving 100% for town baseball as he umpired
youth games, sold tickets, fixed the field and took on any other job
that needed doing.
Kenny Norman of Winsted
Kenny is Mr. Winsted when it comes to baseball. Kenny was
a player and long time umpire for Northwest Umpire's. No job was too
little for Kenny to do if it helped the town team.
Mike Rux of Rockford
Mike was one of the best left-handed pitchers the league
has ever seen. Mike was an automatic draft choice at State Tournament
time when his team didn’t qualify.
